Under the powers conferred by Section 17 of the Depository (Practical) Regulations, 2003, the Securities and Exchange Commission declares the shares of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited listed on the stock exchange as eligible securities effective July 7, 2004.

As a result of this declaration, trading in the shares of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited on the Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited and the Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited shall be prohibited from July 8, 2004, except for off-market transactions.
