Order

Pursuant to the powers conferred under Section 17 of the Depository (Operational) Regulations, 2003, the Securities and Exchange Commission has declared the shares of Bangladesh Exporter Importer Company Ltd., Kasem Drycell Ltd., and Bangladesh Lamps Ltd. as eligible securities effective October 23, 2004.

As a result of this declaration, trading in the shares of Bangladesh Exporter Importer Company Ltd., Kasem Drycell Ltd., and Bangladesh Lamps Ltd. on the Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited and the Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited shall not be permitted except through the Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL) system, effective October 24, 2004.
