Proposed Amendments to Regulations 2101, 2201, and 2401
The State Bank Commissioner proposes to amend Regulation 2101 and Regulation 2201 by adding references to Regulations 2107/2208 and 2108/2209 in the sections requiring licensed offices to maintain applicable regulations. The Commissioner also proposes to replace Regulation 2401 with a new regulation implementing revised licensing criteria and procedures for mortgage loan originators under the Delaware S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2009. The proposed amendments establish new requirements for license applications, exemptions, enforcement, and record keeping consistent with state and federal statutes. The State Bank Commissioner would adopt the proposed amended regulations on or after November 3, 2009.
