PSD Circular No. 08/2020: Bangladesh Electronic Funds Transfer Network (BEFTN) Operating Rules Version 2.0
All scheduled banks in Bangladesh participating in the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) must follow the enclosed BEFTN Operating Rules Version 2.0 with immediate effect. This version updates the previous rules issued in 2010 to facilitate implementation in line with the upgraded BACH-II system. The document establishes the legal framework, participant obligations, transaction flows, settlement procedures, and dispute resolution mechanisms for the network.
