Public Notice – Extension on FIMA Act Formal Consultation
The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) has extended the public comment deadline for subordinate legislation under the Financial Institutions and Markets Act (FIMA). Responding to stakeholder requests, the regulator moved the submission window from 8 March 2023 to 31 March 2023, explicitly stating that no further extensions will be granted. All impacted parties must submit their formal consultation feedback by the new deadline to comply with the implementation of Act No. 2 of 2021.
