Publication of new versions of automobile insurance policy forms Q.P.F. No. 1 and Q.P.F. No. 4
The Autorité des marchés financiers publishes revised versions of automobile insurance policy forms Q.P.F. No. 1 and Q.P.F. No. 4, which take effect twelve months after their publication on the AMF website. These updates simplify language, restructure protections and exclusions, and enhance coverage for temporary replacement vehicles, named drivers, and unspecified vehicles. Obsolete provisions, such as the arbitration clause, are removed to align with current legislative dispute resolution mechanisms. Insurers must implement these changes within the specified timeframe, with supporting tools and cross-reference tables to be made available on the AMF website.
