Publication of Revised Application Forms for Alternative Investment Funds and UCITS
The MFSA has revised the application forms for authorisation as Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS), replacing previous versions with Form AA35 and Form AA37 respectively. These revisions remove concepts not applicable to each regulatory regime and update Annex AX10 and Annex AX11 to better distinguish between externally and internally managed schemes. The MFSA will continue to accept submissions using the previous form, Form AA07, until 3 June 2022, after which only the new forms will be accepted starting 6 June 2022.
