A compliance report regarding the implementation of these corrections must be submitted to the Commission by July 31, 2019.

Memo No.- BSEC/CDS/10/2016/436
Date: June 20, 2019
Circular
Subject: Regarding the Use of Same National ID, Mobile Number, and Bank Account Number for Various BOs.
It has recently been observed that in some cases, the same National ID, mobile number, and bank account number are being used for various BOs, which is illegal and not desirable in any way.
Through this circular, the attention of all Depository Participants is drawn to the fact that if there are such issues in their BO accounts, they must be corrected by July 21, 2019. It is noted that the National ID, mobile number, and bank account used for the BO account must belong to the person in whose name the BO account is maintained; under no circumstances can another person's National ID, mobile number, or bank account be used.
Furthermore, Depository Participants are requested to incorporate the account holder's email (if available) in the BO account so that account holders can easily receive all statements and notices of the company or mutual fund via email.
Cooperation from all Depository Participants regarding the aforementioned matter is requested.
By Order of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission,
