All registered banks operating in New Zealand must publish a disclosure statement twice a year. Disclosure statements must include the Conditions of Registration we have imposed on the bank. We have linked each bank’s disclosure statements in the table below.

Some information banks disclose is financial information. We collate and publish this information on our Bank Financial Strength Dashboard .

Credit ratings

The credit ratings in the table below are obtained from banks' 6-monthly disclosure statements or are as advised by banks.

We have made reasonable efforts to ensure these ratings are the most up to date rating applicable to the bank concerned. However, we cannot guarantee that a rating will be the most current in all circumstances.

Breaches

We require New Zealand-registered banks to meet a number of key prudential requirements . Material breaches of these requirements are recorded on our material breach register.
