Pursuant to Article 35, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1.1, and Article 65 of Law No. 03/L-209 on Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (Official Gazette of the Republic of Kosovo No. 77 / 16 August 2010), amended and supplemented by Law No. 05/L –150 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Kosovo No. 10 / 03 April 2017), as well as Article 8, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1.1, and paragraph 2, subparagraph 2.3, of Law 04/L-155 on Payment System (Official Gazette of the Republic of Kosovo No. 11 / 2 May 2013), the Board of the Central Bank, at its meeting held on 27 August 2026, approved the following:
REGULATION ON AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE REGULATION ON INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS
Article 1
Purpose
The purpose of this Regulation is to amend and supplement the Regulation on International Payments, approved by the Board of the Central Bank on 27 November 2014 (hereinafter: the Basic Regulation).
Article 2

  1. Article 9 of the Basic Regulation is amended and supplemented with the following text:
  2. Banks, branches of foreign banks and other financial institutions authorized to provide
    international payment services, which are connected to SWIFT, shall be obliged to register into the Regulatory Reporting Service of the CBK, which service is operated through the SWIFT system.
  3. Banks, branches of foreign banks and other financial institutions authorized to provide
    international payment services, which use alternative communication arrangements for their international payments, shall be obliged to report them in the manner determined by the CBK with a special instruction.
  4. Pursuant to paragraph 2 of this Article, the CBK shall issue Instructions on Reporting of
    International Payments.
  5. Pursuant to paragraph 2 of this Article, reporting of international payments shall be
    conducted on a regular monthly basis and shall be submitted to the CBK within 10 calendar days upon the completion of referral period for which the data are reported.

Article 3
Effects and entry into force

  1. All other provisions of the Basic Regulation adopted on 27 November 2014 shall remain in force,
    except for the provisions amended and supplemented hereunder.
  2. This Regulation is considered an integral part of the Basic Regulation.
  3. This Regulation shall enter into force 15 days upon its approval.
