Regulation on the Public Register of Payment Institutions and Electronic Money Institutions
The Central Bank of Kosovo establishes a public register containing data on authorized payment institutions, electronic money institutions, account information service providers, and their agents. Registration is mandatory before commencing activities, with specific data requirements and update obligations for each entity type. The register must be updated within 15 working days of authorization, decisions, or notifications of changes, and agents may only begin services after registration. Violations of these provisions are subject to corrective measures and administrative penalties.
