Regulations Governing the Entrustment to the Bank of Taiwan of Matters Associated with the Issuance of the New Taiwan Dollar by the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan)

The Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) entrusts the Bank of Taiwan to manage business operations associated with the issuance of the New Taiwan dollar, including the receipt, payment, delivery, supply and demand regulation, and sorting of notes and coins. The Bank of Taiwan must follow the Central Bank's instructions and supervision, may establish currency distribution centers with the Central Bank's approval, and is reimbursed for all related expenses by the Central Bank. These Regulations take effect on July 1, 2000.
