Foundations overseen by the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) must maintain endowment property with a minimum value of NTD1.6 billion and adhere to specific investment limits, including a 35% cap on unsecured corporate bonds and a 5% cap on exchange-traded funds. Entities with total property of NTD100 million or annual income of NTD10 million or more are required to establish internal control systems, obtain certified financial statements, and implement a code of ethics with whistleblower protections. The regulations also set donation limits at NTD2 million and cap employee bonuses at 4.4 months' salary per year, with salaries not exceeding central government minister pay.
