Asset Management Companies are restricted to offering a maximum of six active Investment Plans within a Shell Structure Collective Investment Scheme, with specific limits for Fund of Funds and Asset Allocation schemes. The circular mandates a minimum plan size of fifty million rupees, caps fixed maturity plan durations at five years, and requires separate daily Net Asset Value calculations for each plan. Existing non-compliant plans must be merged or revoked within 180 days, while new plans must adhere to strict disclosure, fee, and operational guidelines.
