The Central Bank of Bolivia approves a concessional extraordinary credit of Bs35,350,000 to the Bolivian Mining Corporation (COMIBOL) for the third phase of the Lithium Battery Pilot Plant project. The loan carries a 20-year term with a three-year grace period on principal, an annual interest rate of 0.80%, and is secured by non-negotiable Treasury Bonds issued by the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance. Disbursements must be completed by December 30, 2012, under a semi-annual repayment schedule.
