Resolution 060/2001 Approving the Regulation for Operations of Special Accounts and Other US Dollar Accounts of the Public Sector
The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves a new regulation governing Special Accounts and other US Dollar accounts for the Public Sector, effective July 1, 2001. This regulation supersedes Resolution 147/97 and establishes specific operational procedures, including requirements for account opening, fund disbursements, exchange rate applications, and authorized signatures for the Ministry of Finance and the General Treasury. It also mandates the automatic closure of accounts with zero balances or no activity for over one year.
