The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia amends Article 13 of the Regulation on the Collection of Past-Due Old Portfolio to expand the powers of the Credit Recovery Committee. The amendment adds a new subsection authorizing the committee to approve the forgiveness of penalty interest when borrowers fully and early repay loans under the financial conditions of the last contractual document. This change grants the committee additional authority over specific debt relief mechanisms within the existing regulatory framework.
