2011-08-23 | Resolución 105/2011Added · Updated
The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia amends Articles 12 and 13 of the Open Market Operations Regulation to restrict direct sales and market maker sales of sovereign securities exclusively to natural persons, thereby excluding legal entities and financial institutions from these mechanisms. The resolution reclassifies the market maker channel as 'Placement Agents' and mandates that Central Bank officials are prohibited from acquiring public securities under these direct sales mechanisms. These modifications take effect immediately upon their approval on August 23, 2011.
