The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia grants an exceptional liquidity loan of up to USD 5,000,000 to Banco de La Paz S.A. to cover exchange deficiencies in the Clearing House. The loan carries a 16.24% annual interest rate, a 30-day term, and is secured by a credit portfolio valued at twice the loan amount, primarily consisting of normal-rated assets. Banco de La Paz S.A. is prohibited from increasing its loan or investment portfolio during the credit's validity and must submit daily liquidity reports to the Central Bank.
