Rule · BCB · 30 Jul 1987 · Resolução CMN 1361
Real estate credit companies, savings and loan associations, and savings banks must allocate 60% of savings deposit resources to housing financing, with 25% capped at 2,500 OTN and effective remuneration limited to 11% p.a. for units up to 10,000 OTN. These loans require FCVS coverage and Wage Equivalence Plan contracting. Financing above 2,500 OTN allows up to 12% p.a. without FCVS but mandates balance renegotiation. The 25% limit for used property financing is temporarily raised to 40% until June 30, 1988. This Resolution enters into force upon publication, repealing Resolutions No. 1,221, 1,254, 1,310, 1,330, and item II of Resolution No. 1,253.
