Resolution CMN No. 2412 amends Article 11 of Resolution No. 1,962 to regulate the exceptional, case-by-case cession of credit from loans, financing, and leasing operations to entities outside the National Financial System. The amendment mandates that such cessions must be without co-obligation of the ceding institution, prohibit the repurchase of ceded credits, require immediate settlement, and forbid any subsequent transaction that indirectly returns risk to the ceding institution. The ceding institution is required to disclose accounting and cession values, as well as patrimonial and result effects, in the explanatory notes of the first balance sheet published after Central Bank approval.
