1998-06-29 | Resolução CMN 2516Added
This resolution defines Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, the Monday and Tuesday of Carnival, the day dedicated to Corpus Christi, and November 2nd as non-business days for financial market operations and reporting to the Central Bank of Brazil. It grants financial institutions discretion to set their own public service hours on Ash Wednesday and December 24 and 31, provided they notify the public at least thirty days in advance. The regulation repeals Resolution No. 1,774 and specific articles of Circular No. 2,518, and authorizes the Central Bank to issue necessary execution norms.
