Rule · BCB · 26 Aug 1998 · Resolução CMN 2536
Multiple banks, commercial banks, investment banks, economic savings banks, credit financing and investment companies, securities brokerage firms, and securities distribution companies may issue fund quotas in their name, followed by a code identifying the final investor. These institutions must ensure final investors have full access to fund documents, maintain permanently updated records of investor identification and investment transactions, and keep this documentation at their headquarters for Central Bank of Brazil inspection. This Resolution, effective 10.01.98, exempts institutions managing third-party resources solely under these provisions from designating an exclusive director for supervision.
Dispenses on the execution of investments in funds regulated by the Central Bank of Brazil through institutions that are acting on behalf and order of clients.
