Rule · BCB · 25 Apr 2002 · Resolução CMN 2960
Financial institutions may renegotiate debts under the Bahia Cocoa Crop Recovery Program, excluding miniproducers governed by Law 10.177/2001. Pre-December 31, 1997 debts allow up to five-year repayment terms with National Treasury bond financing. Post-January 1, 1998 debts permit ten-year terms with three-year grace periods. Financial charges are equalized equally by the National Treasury and State of Bahia Treasury. Operational risk remains with the financial agent or treasuries, capped at 40% of remaining resources. This resolution entered into force on publication, revoking Resolution 2.887/2001.
Dispenses with conditions and procedures to be observed in the formalization of debt extension operations linked to the Bahia Cocoa Crop Recovery Program and in the application of the balance of resources of the cited program.
