Rule · BCB · 4 Aug 2006 · Resolução CMN 3390
Resolution 3390 establishes specific non-cumulative financing limits for Federal Government Loans (EGF) under controlled rural credit resources, setting maximum amounts per borrower per harvest for crops such as cotton (R$500,000), corn (R$400,000), soybeans (R$300,000), and peanuts (R$250,000). It amends Resolutions 3373 and 3376 to automatically grant term extensions for borrowers producing cotton, peanuts, rice, corn, soybeans, sorghum, or wheat who face commercialization difficulties, and includes peanuts in the list of activities eligible for reprogramming of overdue installments. The resolution also restores a 7% mandatory resource percentage (MCR 6-2) for discount operations up to R$10,000,000 until June 30, 2007, and repeals Article 2 of Resolution 3369.
Dispenses with adjustments to current norms for financing with controlled resources of rural credit, includes peanuts among the activities benefited by the reprogramming of overdue installments and extension of due installments in 2006, and amends Resolutions 3.373 and 3.376, both from 2006, which deal with the reprogramming of overdue installments and the granting of time for payment of due installments, in 2006, of operating and investment operations.
