RESOLUTION NO. 003654

Amends Article 1 of Resolution No. 3,110 of 2003.

The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in a session held on December 17, 2008, based on Articles 3, item V, 4, items VI and VIII, 17, and 18, paragraph 1, of the aforementioned law, and Article 14 of Law No. 4,728 of July 14, 1965,

RESOLVES:

Article 1. Article 1, paragraph 2, of Resolution No. 3,110 of July 31, 2003, is amended, which shall henceforth read as follows:

"Article 1. ..............................................

Paragraph 2. The hiring of a company to provide the services referred to in the caput must be communicated to the Central Bank of Brazil.

.................................................." (NR)

Article 2. Authorization requests for the hiring of companies to provide the services referred to in items I and II of Article 1 of Resolution No. 3,110 of 2003, already filed with the Central Bank of Brazil, shall be considered communications for the purposes set forth in paragraph 2 of Article 1 of the cited normative act, with the wording given by this resolution.

Article 3. This resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
