Resolution modifying general provisions for handling information requests to financial entities supervised by the CNBV
The National Banking and Securities Commission modifies Article 9, fraction I to require credit institutions to submit passive operation statements in PDF format with specific integrity and editing restrictions, and additionally in XML format via a structured layout when requested. Annex 3 establishes the technical specifications for this XML layout, defining mandatory and optional fields such as account numbers, customer details, addresses, and transaction movements, along with their data types, lengths, and validation rules. The resolution enters into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette, while the new Annex 3 follows the effective date set by a previous resolution from April 28, 2017.
