Resolution modifying the General Provisions applicable to brokerage houses
The National Banking and Securities Commission amends Articles 171 and 171 Bis of the General Provisions applicable to brokerage houses to establish specific application formats in Annex 20 for requests regarding special accounting criteria and special accounting records. The resolution reduces the maximum response time for these authorizations to sixty business days, establishing that silence constitutes a negative decision. The changes enter into force the day after publication, while existing applications and authorizations remain governed by previous regulations until their conclusion.
