Resolution modifying the General Provisions applicable to credit institutions
The National Banking and Securities Commission replaces Annexes 1-B and 1-G of the General Provisions applicable to credit institutions with new mappings of credit ratings and risk grades for long-term and short-term exposures, as well as for securitization schemes. These annexes define the risk weight percentages assigned to recognized global and local Mexican rating scales under the Standardized Approach and Internal Ratings-Based or Inferred methods. The resolution enters into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation on May 12, 2018.
