On the formation of accounting policies for commercial banks and financial credit institutions licensed by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2003
In execution of paragraph 2 of Article 1 and paragraph 3 of Article 5 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Accounting", which establishes International Financial Reporting Standards as the unified methodological basis for maintaining accounting records, the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic resolves:
1.
Commercial banks and financial credit institutions licensed by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic shall develop accounting policies in accordance with the principles of International Financial Reporting Standards and bring them into effect from January 1, 2003.
2.
It is established that, with effect from January 1, 2003, the existing accounting policies (according to the list in the appendix) shall have a recommendatory character.
3.
Control over the execution of this resolution shall be entrusted to the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, K. Sh. Sharshkeeve.
