14.2 The compliance officer, on behalf of the obligated subject, must qualify the operation as suspicious and proceed with its communication to UIF-Peru, leaving documentary evidence of the analysis and evaluations carried out, for the qualification of an operation as unusual or suspicious, as well as the reason why an unusual operation was not qualified as suspicious and reported to UIF-Peru, if applicable. The AML/CFT prevention system must be evaluated by internal audit, if the obligated subject has it, or by a Manager different from the compliance officer of the obligated subject.
The AML/CFT prevention system must be evaluated by an external audit firm, in those cases where there is a legal obligation to have one, different from the one that issues the annual financial statements report, or by a completely distinct team from this.
17.2 The supervisory body carries out supervision visits on AML/CFT prevention, according to the planning it determines, and exercises the sanctioning power for non-compliance with the obligations derived from this standard and according to the Regulation of Infractions and Sanctions corresponding.

18.2 The person designated as compliance officer can only be so for one obligated subject at a time, unless it is a corporate compliance officer.
18.3 In cases where, due to the size of its organization, complexity, or volume of operations, it is not justified that the obligated subject has a compliance officer on an exclusive dedication basis, obligated subjects may request from the supervisory body and UIF-Peru, authorization to have a compliance officer on a non-exclusive dedication basis, who must comply with articles 19 and 20 of this standard. The request must be duly justified and contain the following minimum information:

If in the exercise of supervision powers, the supervisory body or UIF-Peru determine that the management of the non-exclusive dedication compliance officer does not allow adequate management of the AML/CFT risks faced by the obligated subject, they may leave without effect the authorization to have a non-exclusive dedication compliance officer.
Article 19.- Requirements of the compliance officer
19.1 The compliance officer of the obligated subject must meet the following requirements:

Los Laureles Nº 214 - Lima 27 - Perú Telf. : (511) 6309000 Fax: (511) 6309239 15/42
of the occurrence of the fact. In the event that the obligated subject becomes aware of the non-compliance with requirements, even if the compliance officer has not communicated it to them, they must inform the supervisory body and UIF-Perú within a maximum period of five (5) business days; without prejudice to complying with paragraphs 20.2 and 20.5 of Article 20, for the designation of a new compliance officer and the justification referred to in Article 22.

ALERT SIGNALS
(For use by the legal entity that operates casino games and/or slot machines) Alert signals constitute for the obligated subject, its employees, and the compliance officer, a tool to be taken into account with the purpose of detecting and/or preventing suspicious operations related to ML/FT. Likewise, each obligated subject must develop alert evaluation procedures, which must be found in the Manual, available to UIF-Perú. The list of alert signals is not exhaustive, so each obligated subject must consider other situations that escape normality, according to its good judgment.
