Resolution SBS No. 2123-2022: Establish Provisions Applicable to Electronic Money Operations
Electronic money issuers may use immediate-disposition deposits in A+ classified multiple-operation companies as an alternative guarantee for the value of issued electronic money until December 31, 2022. Issuers handling funds released under the National State of Emergency with an A- or higher rating have sixty calendar days from the end of the month of issuance to comply with Articles 15 and 16 of the Electronic Money Operations Regulation. This resolution enters into force the day after its publication and repeals Resolution SBS No. 1772-2021.
