SBP Policy Rate and Overnight Repo Reverse-Repo Facilities
The State Bank of Pakistan increases the Policy Rate from 10.50% to 11.50%, effective April 28, 2026. The Overnight Reverse Repo (Ceiling) rate is set at 12.50%, and the Overnight Repo (Floor) rate is set at 10.50%, establishing an interest rate corridor width of 200 basis points. Commercial banks and primary dealers must align their overnight money market rates with the new Policy Rate.
