The Securities Act (Cap. 208) is amended by replacing the definition of “recognised jurisdiction” in section 2(1) with a new definition requiring the relevant regulatory authority to be an ordinary member of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions. Additionally, Schedule 2 of the Securities Act is repealed. The Act may be cited as the Securities (Amendment) Act, 2020 and comes into operation on a date appointed by the Minister of Finance via Notice in the Gazette.
