Securitisation (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 and Securitisation Regulations 2018
The Financial Conduct Authority amends the Decision Procedure and Penalties Manual and the Enforcement Guide to establish decision-making procedures for regulating Securitisation Repositories and enforcing the Securitisation Regulations 2018. Near-final rules specify that the Regulatory Decisions Committee or executive procedures handle registration refusals, withdrawals, financial penalties, and public censures for Securitisation Repositories, effective on exit day. Final rules grant the Regulatory Decisions Committee authority to impose suspensions, conditions, limitations, or other restrictions on individuals and authorised persons for breaches of the 2018 Regulations.
