Simplification of requirements for grant of accreditation to investors

Accreditation Agencies, including those also registered as KRAs, must grant accreditation solely on applicants' KYC and financial information, and may access KYC documents from their own and other KRAs' databases. Accreditation certificates must carry a unique number, agency name, PAN, validity dates and a disclaimer, and are valid two years (one preceding financial year), three years (two preceding years), or two years for newly incorporated entities meeting net-worth criteria. Investment service providers must verify accreditation, disclose concessions and record withdrawal modalities; investors in AI-only pooled products cannot withdraw consent. Effective immediately.
