Spot and forward transactions, repos, collateralized loans, other derivatives and mutual investment funds: adaptation

Financial institutions may not hold shares of mutual investment funds, except shares of new funds for 120 consecutive days from the launch of the public offering, where monthly-average holdings do not exceed 2% of the entity's minimum cash integration for the month or $2,000,000, whichever is greater. They may not provide liquidity to mutual investment funds by purchasing or assigning portfolio assets, unless these are BCRA monetary regulation instruments or securities with normal and habitual quotation, widely disseminated and at market prices. Fund names must clearly distinguish independence from each other, and must not use common words, roots, abbreviations or acronyms identifying them with financial institutions. Effective 15/6/2018, replacing point 7.2.2.1.
