SRO 145 (I)/2020 Amendments to Associations with Charitable and Not for Profit Objects Regulations, 2018

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan amends Regulation 10, sub-regulation (2), clause (ii) of the Associations with Charitable and Not for Profit Objects Regulations, 2018. The amendment substitutes the phrase "(other than nominee director)" with "(other than nominee director and Independent director)". This change takes effect upon notification on February 28, 2020.

O. 145 (I)/2020.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 512 of the Companies Act, 2017 (XIX of 2019), the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan is pleased to notify the following amendments to the Associations with Charitable and Not for Profit Objects Regulations, 2018 (the Regulations), the same having been previously published in the official Gazette vide notification S.R.O 48 (I)/2020 dated January 27, 2020, namely:- In the aforesaid Regulations, in regulation 10, in sub-regulation (2), in clause (ii), for the expression “(other than nominee director)”, the expression “(other than nominee director and Independent director)” shall be substituted.
