SRO 48 (I)/2020 Draft amendment to Associations with Charitable and Not for Profit Objects Regulations, 2018

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has published a draft amendment to the Associations with Charitable and Not for Profit Objects Regulations, 2018, for public consultation. The proposed change substitutes the phrase "(other than nominee director)" with "(other than nominee director and Independent director)" in regulation 10, sub-regulation (2), clause (ii). O. 48(I)/2020.- The draft amendment to the Associations with Charitable and Not for Profit Objects Regulations, 2018 (the Regulations) proposed to be made by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, in exercise of powers conferred by section 512 of the Companies Act, 2017, are hereby published for eliciting public opinion thereon and notice is hereby given that comments, if any, received within fourteen days of the date of this notification will be taken into consideration by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, namely:- DRAFT AMENDMENT In the aforesaid Regulations, in regulation 10, in sub-regulation (2) in clause (ii) for the expression “(other than nominee director)”, the expression “(other than nominee director and Independent director)” shall be substituted.
