SRO 62(I)/2017 Amendments in Securities Brokers Regulations 2016

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan amends the Securities Brokers (Licensing and Operations) Regulations, 2016, by inserting a new clause prohibiting single member companies from obtaining securities broker licenses. Existing single member companies already licensed as securities brokers are required to convert their status to either a public or private company within sixty days of a date to be notified by the Commission. The notification also invites objections or suggestions regarding these draft amendments within fourteen days of their placement on the Commission's website.
