SRO 771(I)/2018 Notification to Mutual Funds VPS

NOTIFICATION
S.R.O. 771 (I)/2018.— In exercise of the powers conferred under section 510 read with section 66 of the Companies Act, 2017 (Act No. XIX of 2017), the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, in supersession of previous notifications S.R.O. 1142(I)/91 dated November 03, 1991, S.R.O. 747(I)/ 2000, dated October 19, 2000, S.R.O. 1089(I)/2003, dated December 04, 2003, S.R.O. 537(I)/2004 dated June 28, 2004 and S.R.O. 98(I)/2005 January 27, 2005, is pleased to notify the following persons to whom any instrument in the nature of "redeemable capital" may be issued by a company subject to the terms and conditions as provided in section 66 of the Act, namely:-
(i) "Mutual Funds, Voluntary Pension Schemes, and Private Fund being managed by NBFC"; and (ii) "Insurer registered under the Insurance Ordinance, 2000 (XXXIX of 2000).
