Aquila Municipal Trust must pay $3,000 to the State of Connecticut, comprising $1,500 in past due notice filing fees and a $1,500 administrative fine, for selling securities to Connecticut purchasers in 2015 and 2016 without required filings. The Trust is required to refrain from offering or selling securities in Connecticut absent compliance with Section 36b-16 of the Connecticut Uniform Securities Act, including timely compliance with notice filing requirements under Section 36b-21(c).
