Study Note No. 54: Liquidity and Credit - June 2026

This document reports that private sector credit growth remained at 8.7% year-over-year in June 2026, with corporate credit at 8.2% and household credit at 9.3%. Private sector liquidity increased by 0.3% monthly to a 16.4% annual rate, while the credit dollarization coefficient rose to 22.4%. External banking liabilities decreased by USD 214 million, and financial savings showed a 12.5% annual growth driven by pension and mutual fund assets. The Credit Conditions Survey indicates a deterioration in credit supply conditions for corporate segments, shifting from neutral to pessimistic.
