Summary of Submissions and Final Policy Decision Review of the Default Option for the Publication of Submissions
The Reserve Bank has decided to implement a new policy for public consultations, moving from publishing anonymized summaries to publishing individual submissions. Effective for consultation papers released on or after September 22, 2016, the Reserve Bank will publish submissions when explicit consent is granted, requiring submitters to make their own redactions for commercially sensitive or prudential information. This change aims to enhance transparency while ensuring the protection of sensitive data, reflecting feedback received and practices adopted by other regulatory bodies.
