Texas Banking Commissioner Issues Consent Order Relating to Lockeson Escrow, Inc., d/b/a GunTab Texas Banking Commissioner Charles G. Cooper issued a Consent Order (Order) on September 1, 2026, relating to Lockeson Escrow, Inc., doing business as GunTab (GunTab), Austin, Texas. The Order is based on the Commissioner’s finding that GunTab violated Texas Finance Code
Chapter 152 by conducting money transmission without obtaining a license from the Texas
Department of Banking (Department). The Order requires GunTab to pay an administrative penalty and desist from conducting further money transmission in Texas unless licensed or otherwise exempt from licensure.
