The Central Bank of Cyprus amends its 2025 Collateral Management Directive to align with ECB Guideline ECB/2026/4, effective March 30, 2026. The amendment introduces new definitions for cross-border and domestic collateral mobilization, retain and transfer booking modes, and asset accounts, while deleting obsolete terms such as 'non-marketable covered bonds' and 'DECC'. It updates operational rules regarding the opening of external asset accounts, the provision of credit claims via TARGET2, and the calculation of credit lines for intraday credit access, and establishes procedures for the provision and withdrawal of Additional Credit Claim portfolios.
