The Organic Regulations of the Central Engraving and Printing Plant

These regulations establish the organizational structure, operational scope, and personnel appointment procedures for the Central Engraving and Printing Plant, which is directly supervised by the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Plant specializes in printing bank notes and may engage in printing important government documents, manufacturing ink, producing paper and equipment, and processing withdrawn or unfit notes with the Bank's permission. The document defines specific responsibilities for ten divisions, offices, and two works, while detailing the hierarchy from the President down to section chiefs and subsection heads. It mandates that the Plant's President be appointed by the Bank's Governor following Board approval, with other key leadership roles appointed by the President or nominated through a similar process, and sets the effective date as January 1, 2016.
