WARNING: FRAUDULENT TELEPHONE CALLS PURPORTING TO BE FROM THE TCI FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMISSION
The Turks and Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission warns the public against fraudulent telephone calls where perpetrators impersonate the Commission using spoofed caller IDs displaying official police or government logos. The Commission explicitly prohibits requesting personal banking details, passwords, PINs, or payments via telephone and advises residents and businesses to immediately hang up, avoid providing any information, and report suspicious incidents to the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force or the Commission directly.
