Indonesia has shifted primary crypto asset regulation from Bappebti to the OJK under the UU P2SK framework. OJK Regulation No. 27 of 2024 establishes the licensing regime for Digital Financial Asset Trading Operators, mandating strict fit-and-proper assessments, capital requirements, and AML compliance. Bappebti retains jurisdiction over crypto derivatives and physical futures trading.
