Regulation on Reporting Statistics of Payment Instruments
The Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo issued this regulation to standardize statistical reporting requirements for all licensed payment service providers and system operators. Reporting entities must submit accurate, complete data covering accounts, cards, terminals, transaction volumes, electronic money values, and fraud metrics within fifteen calendar days of each reference period using CBK-prescribed formats. The Central Bank will publish the aggregated figures as open data, conduct quality verification and on-site inspections to ensure compliance, and enforce corrective measures or sanctions while repealing the previous 2023 framework.
